How Kiddom Works
Kiddom works with Open Education Resources (OERs) that meet criteria to be High-quality Instructional Materials (HQIM) using 3rd party reviews and validations.
While OERs are free and well-funded, they often lack the tech features students and teachers expect. Kiddom enhances OERs with tools for planning, delivery, and assessment while supporting curriculum writers with vital usage data.
Our process
1
We digitize, enhance, and make print versions of the best curricula.
2
Schools choose the Kiddom digital experience, print materials, or both!
3
Educators assign and differentiate within Kiddom.
4
Student data is gathered, centralized, and easily interpreted.
5
Kiddom anonymizes and shares data insights with curriculum developers for continuous improvement.

Bidirectional partnerships
We work closely with our partners to ensure their curriculum design and pedagogical vision pair with Kiddom technology. At the same time, we share protected data with OER developers to continuously improve their instructional materials.
Improving teachers' lives
Kiddom streamlines planning, delivery, and assessment with powerful technology that makes using HQIM easier while adding accessibility, personalization, and data gathering functionalities.

Student-centered design
We designed Kiddom following UDL Guidelines, dyslexia supporting text, intuitive student controls, and more. Kiddom's ecosystem standardizes student learning experiences across curricula.
Tech-enhanced learning
From integrated digital manipulatives and feedback systems to video and audio embedding, Kiddom has technology tools and features that help you get more done in less time while helping engage students in the learning.

Setting a higher bar
There are many curriculum providers out there; however, not all are created equally. We've chosen only vetted, research-proven OERs to partner with in order to set the bar high for academic achievement.
Coming soon: native text-to-speech
In 2025, we’ll be releasing a native text-to-speech function for select Kiddom HQIM. This “baked-in” technology will allow students to have text read aloud to them in order to support understanding, instructional accommodations, and multilingual language learners.
